How is CoffeeSprout priced?
CaffeineStacks managed servers start at €200 per month. Managed clusters begin at €1500 per month. Shared namespace pricing will be announced alongside the 2026 launch.
Do you offer custom plans?
Yes. If your workload needs dedicated resources beyond the standard tiers, we’ll map a tailored plan during the discovery call.
Is pricing monthly or annual?
Pricing is billed monthly with the option to commit annually for predictable budgeting.
Is there a minimum contract period?
No. You can cancel monthly. We're working toward full EU Data Act compliance so you can easily export your data and configuration. No lock-in, no hassle if you leave.
What's the difference between Shared Namespace and managed servers?
With Shared Namespace you deploy containers to our Kubernetes cluster without managing infrastructure yourself. Managed servers are dedicated VMs where you have full control. Shared Namespace suits teams that want to ship fast, managed servers suit those who need more control, want specific configurations, or aren't ready for Kubernetes yet.
Java & Runtime Support
Which Java versions do you support?
All LTS releases (Java 17, 21) plus the newly released Java 25. We handle patching and runtime updates on your behalf.
Can you run non-Java workloads?
Absolutely. We primarily work with JVM stacks, but also host Python, Node.js, and other services that accompany your Java applications.
How do Java upgrades work?
Upgrades are included. We stage new releases, validate them on representative workloads, and schedule production upgrades during your maintenance window.
Onboarding & Support
What does onboarding look like?
Most teams start with a discovery call, followed by a runbook of deliverables. We set up monitoring, backups, and access, and migrate workloads with a rollback plan.
How fast do you respond to incidents?
Critical incidents are handled immediately, day or night. During business hours we respond within one hour, lower priority issues are addressed during the day.
Do you provide consulting or training?
Yes. We offer consulting engagements for architecture reviews, JVM tuning, and team enablement.
Can you help migrate from AWS or Azure?
Yes, we have experience migrating workloads from AWS, Azure, and other cloud providers. We create a migration plan, set up the infrastructure, and guide the transition with a rollback plan just in case.
Infrastructure & Compliance
Where are your data centres located?
Our three data centres are in the Netherlands: Naaldwijk, Amsterdam, and Zoetermeer. We own the hardware, no hyperscaler involved. Your data stays under Dutch jurisdiction, without foreign legislation like the US CLOUD Act.
How does your pricing compare to AWS or Azure?
Fixed monthly price, including support, bandwidth, and load balancing. No MSP charging €150 per hour on top whenever you need something. And your data stays in the Netherlands on hardware we manage.
Do you handle backups?
Yes. We snapshot every managed machine twice daily, replicate off-site, and offer tape and cold storage add-ons for compliance.
Can you work with our compliance requirements?
We support ISO27001-aligned processes and can document controls for audits. Let us know what you need.
